History of SQL:
→ The Structured English Query language(SEQUEL) was developed by IBM
→ Developed using Codd’s Relational Model since its accepted as the definitive model for Relational Database Management Systems
→ SEQUEL later became SQL. (Still pronounces ‘SEQUEL’)
→ In 1979, Relational Software Inc.(Now, Oracle) introduced the first commercially implementation of SQL
→ Now, SQL is accepted as the standard RDBMS Language
